Chromag is back at it again with a revision to their cult-classic, the Wideangle. Chromag are the makers of some of the most shredtastic steel and titanium frames around. For the new Wideangle they stayed true to their DNA as a brand. The revision to the Wideangle frame certifies it as the ultimate all mountain machine for the rider who wants progressive geometry, lots of tire/wheel options, a bombproof frame, and wants the ability to run a 140-160mm travel fork. The frame is designed around 27.5” and 26”+ wheels making this bike a bit more playful and nimble than its 29er brethren. Having the frame optimized for 150mm of travel and pairing it with a 65° head tube angle and longer reach means that this bike is absolutely ready to rail every corner and pop off of every jump in it’s path. For the frame material Chromag went with their classic 4130 chromoly steel tubing. This means you’re getting an insanely durable frame that’ll last a lifetime.
